# Ink, shots and keys

Facecast gives your hands keys for the things that change during a take.

## Ink

| Key | Tool |
| --- | --- |
| `D` | Pen |
| `H` | Highlighter |
| `A` | Arrow |
| `L` | Line |
| `B` | Box |
| `O` | Ellipse |
| `K` | Laser |
| `E` | Eraser |
| `C` | Clear |

Colours are `Alt` with `1` to `8`. Ink is drawn into the recording. On a slide, a PDF page or a document the ink belongs to the content, so each page keeps its own.

## Screenshots

`S` captures the frame, `Shift` with `S` the content alone. Shots go into a tray during the take and a gallery after it. You can download one or all as a zip, caption them and star the ones that matter. "End with a summary" closes the take with a card of its screenshots.

## Other keys

`M` mutes, and `?` shows every key.
