A web app for recording yourself. You write a script, read it from a full-screen teleprompter over your camera or your screen, choose a layout and a background, and keep the take. Your own AI can write the script through Geenius OS. It is an app of Geenius OS and also works on its own.
No. Facecast has no built-in AI: it does not write your words, change your face or make a voice. Your own AI, Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, can write a script and caption your screenshots through Geenius OS.
It is in early access: invite-only, with payments in test mode. The parts described on this site are built and in the app. We let people in a few at a time, so request access and we write when your place is ready.
No. Facecast is a standalone app with its own account and plans. A Geenius OS plan includes the matching Facecast plan, and you can sign in with that account. Some things, such as your AI writing scripts and saving to the Media library, work through Geenius OS.
AVS Media, a small company in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, as one of the apps of Geenius OS.
No. Recording time and the number of takes are not limited on any plan. Plans count the recordings you keep: 200 on Pro, 400 on Premium and 1000 on Max.
MP4 where your browser can record it, and WebM where it cannot. The studio tells you which one your browser makes.
Not until you keep the take. Recording happens in your browser, and a kept take is stored with your Facecast account. You can also save it to your Geenius OS Media library.
A take is saved to your browser's private storage as you record, so a crash or a closed tab does not lose it. Open the studio again and it offers to recover the take.
You can record with the camera. Sharing a screen is not available on phones, so the content layouts that need a screen are limited there.
You write one text with # topics, - bullet points and plain lines. Read it as topics (headings only), bullets (each topic with its points) or full text, word for word. The pace is 60 to 260 words per minute, and the text 20 to 120 px.
Four: camera, bubble (your face in a shape over the content), side by side, and content only. Switching morphs between them, and each switch is written down as a chapter.
Several engines (MediaPipe, BodyPix, MODNet, PP-HumanSeg, or your system's own effect) run in your browser to blur or remove the background, or put a colour, picture or video behind you. A chroma key is also there for a green screen.
Yes. The first time you use a background engine, its model is loaded from a third party: jsDelivr, Google model storage or Hugging Face. The processing itself runs on your machine and your camera picture is not sent anywhere.
Your screen, a window, a browser tab, a website, a document from Geenius OS Office, a PDF, the scratchpad or a picture.
A small control bar that floats above other windows so you can run a take while looking at another app. It uses the Document Picture-in-Picture feature, which Chrome and Edge have.
A saved studio setup: layout, bubble shape, border and background. The studio opens with the one you set as default.
Through Geenius OS. Connect your AI to Geenius OS once and it gets a tool called geenius_facecast with four areas: scripts, recordings, shots and looks.
No. Recording needs your camera and your hands, so it happens in your browser. Your AI writes the script and hands you a link to record it.
It can delete scripts, shots and Looks, and each of those needs the id as a confirmation. It cannot change or delete a recording file.
€9, €19 or €49 a month for Pro, Premium and Max. Each plan includes everything; the plans count how many recordings you keep. A Geenius OS plan includes the matching Facecast plan.
No, and no trial period. A promo key from us can grant a 7, 14 or 30 day trial to people we invite. Payments are in test mode during early access, so nothing is charged yet.
The recordings you keep: 200, 400 or 1000. Recording itself is not limited.
Nothing you do not hand over deliberately: no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising. The privacy statement lists the one small cookie that remembers the ink colour of the day.
Ask it as a question on the search page, write to us, or ask for the feature.
